The Evolving Landscape of Content Delivery

Content is no longer just for web sites. As more and more people spend less and less time in front of a computer using a mouse and keyboard, content that traditionally surfaced in web apps now surfaces in numerous new and emerging channels. On the flip side, content creation is shifting to originate from everywhere and everybody in conjunction with dedicated producers. Voice UI is one particular example of new interaction pattern between people and information and between people and tasks.

Demo Video

I have assembled a video showing both an information interaction and a task interaction. The information interaction is to find out about new offers and promotions at the fictional Cafe Supremo Coffee Shop. The task interaction is to make s specialty coffee drink at home by finding a recipe and shopping for the required ingredients.

There is a section at the end of the video giving an overview of how to build such a solution using the Amazon Alexa Skills kit and the Oracle Content & Experience Cloud REST API.
